A process of making a painting and the end of a course

Here is the process. Follow the links to see the result.
1. Draw the image exactly as you can, upside down.
2. Pick parts of the image and do paintings using ink.
3. Choose one of your ink paintings and do a collage.
4. Do a painting from your collage or any other part of the image.
5: Build a modell of the image using cardboard paper.
6. Use one of the creations above and do a final painting.

and slowly the painting progressed

Painting skin

This is the result of todays work.

I started by painting the background green, as was the assigment

Then we were supposed to use red colour to draw the contour of the model.

After that, I begun painting the skin using yellow ocre, raw umbra and red colour. The colours where specified in the assigment as well.

My challenge was to try a new way of painting. I used a broad and dry brush and applied colours
in big strokes.

I added blue to create interesting shadows
